Gold Coast fullback AJ Brimson has signed a five-year deal with the NRL club.
The 22-year-old, who has made 55 appearances for the Titans since debuting in 2018, has been locked in until the end of the 2026 season.
Titans coach Justin Holbrook said securing the Queensland State of Origin representative was a key part of his plans for the club's future.
"It's so important for us to have AJ locked in long term because he is so important to what we are building here," Holbrook said.
"It is great for everyone ... he is one of the best young players in the NRL and he is only going to get better over the next few years."
Holbrook came back from a serious back injury last year to spark the TItans' strong finish to the 2020 campaign.
His return to the team led to a five-match winning run with Brimson scoring back-to-back doubles in the final two games of the season.
Kalyn Ponga's shoulder injury opened the door for Brimson to debut for the Maroons at fullback in last year's Origin opener, scoring a try in the 18-14 win.
A Lisfranc foot injury suffered in that game however ended his season.
Having regained his fitness in the off-season, Brimson has been an ever-present for the Titans in 2021, scoring four tries in 10 games and will be aiming to return to the Maroons' lineup for this year's series under new coach Paul Green.
