Queensland State of Origin hopeful Jai Arrow has been taken to hospital with rib and back pain after he was injured in the Gold Coast's NRL clash with Canberra.

Arrow limped from GIO Stadium in the 18th minute of the clash with a back injury after he attempted to make a tackle, and was later seen leaving the ground in an ambulance.

The 22-year-old lock has battled back spasms and rib pain through this year, but has still been the Titans' best over the opening two months of the season.
