Gold Coast prop Sam Lisone will plead not guilty to his dangerous contact charge from Friday's NRL win over St George Illawarra.
Lisone is facing a one-game ban regardless of his plea after being charged with driving his forearm into Dragon Billy Britain during a hit-up.
The incident was initially cleared on field by the referee and bunker in the Titans' 14-12 win but Lisone was later charged by the match review committee.
The 26-year-old will head to a judiciary hearing on Tuesday night and will be clear to play against Canterbury this Saturday if successful in his plea.
If found guilty Lisone will be suspended for the match against the last-placed Bulldogs.
Lisone was one of several players charged with dangerous contact over the weekend including Brisbane Joe Ofahengaue, Newcastle's Pasami Saulo and Melbourne's Christian Welch.
