The man Conor McGregor allegedly punched 'didn't leave his house for days'

The man that was allegedly punched by Conor McGregor in a pub in Dublin back in April “didn’t leave his house for days” because he was shaken, according to a friend.

Last week a video, obtained by TMZ, shows McGregor twice putting a glass in front of the older man, purportedly to pour McGregor's whiskey brand.

The man twice moves the glass away from him before McGregor shoots out his left fist to hit him in the face.

Two other men then restrained McGregor and pushed the Irishman out of the frame of the video, which does not include audio.

Now, a friend speaking to the Daily Mirror, said the alleged victim was in “bits” after the alleged punch.

“Next thing he punched him in the side of the face. He didn’t feel the pain of it at the time but the next day he was in bits. It was a proper hard hit,” the friend said.

“His face was very sore. He was very shaken by the whole thing and didn’t leave his house for days.”

Dana White rips into McGregor

UFC boss White said he was aware of the incident and labelled it “pretty bad”.

“That happened in April,” he said on the Jim Rome show.

“I knew that happened, they just got the video. Yeah, it’s pretty bad.”
