Kyrgios and Dasha lead Aussie charge Wednesday night

It's all LIVE on Channel 7, 7mate, 7TWO and 7TENNIS app.

Aussie firebrand Nick Kyrgios and world no. 23 Daria Gavrilova are the feature attractions in a superb Wednesday night line-up at the Australian Open.

Kyrgios again heads out to his happy hunting ground at Hisense Arena to face Serbian Viktor Troicki from 6.45pm AEDT.

The Australian will go in with some confidence having easily accounted for Troicki 6-1, 6-2 in their only encounter, which came last year on a hard court at the ATP World Masters 1000 in Canada.

Then ‘Dasha’ Gavrilova is second up on court on Rod Laver Arena as she takes on Belgian Elise Mertens.

They’ve played each other twice on the circuit, with both players enjoying one win apiece.

Also on Wednesday night, Australian Matt Ebden will be aiming to advance to the third round against the Ukraine’s Alexandr Dolgopolov, while Grigor Dimitrov faces American Mackenzie McDonald.

During the day, world no. 1 Rafael Nadal features on Rod Laver Arena as he battles Leonardo Mayer, while Aussie John Millman takes on 28th seed Damir Dzumhur. Earlier in the day, local hope Olivia Rogowska faces Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.

World no. 2 Caroline Wozniacki and 2008 Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will also feature in the day.
