Ebden goes down to Carreno Busta in Kooyong final

World No.10 Pablo Carreno Busta has overcome local hope Matt Ebden to claim the Kooyong Classic trophy.

The Spaniard lost first set in a tie-break and was down a break in the second but fought back to take the match 6-7 (8-6) 6-4 6-2 against the Australian No.2.

Busta will take on another Aussie in wildcard Jason Kubler in round one of the Australian Open next week, while Ebden faces American John Isner.
