Hewitt gets gatorade shower after Davis Cup victory

Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt was on the receiving end of a customary gatorade shower after leading Australia to victory over Czech Republic.

After Sam Groth and John Peers wrapped up the tie with a straight sets win in Saturday's doubles rubber, they snuck up behind Hewitt during an interview with Channel 7.

The boys dumped a whole esky of gatorade and ice over their skipper's head, much to his surprise.

"I know who that would have been, bloody Grothy!" he said.

Nick Kyrgios then got in on the act:

Following the singles success of Kyrgios and debutant Jordan Thompson on Friday, Peers and Groth crushed Jiri Vesely and Jan Satral 6-3 6-2 6-2 to give Australia an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Australia are now set to host a World Group quarter-final match-up on the weekend of April 7-9 against the USA.
