Australian Open Day 8 Broadcast Schedule
Daria Gavrilova continues her spirited run at the Australian Open Monday night LIVE on Channel 7 and the 7Tennis app from 7pm AEDT, as she takes on Czech fifth seed Karolina Pliskova for a spot in the quarter finals.
The popular and energetic Aussie will be aiming to go one step further than last year's Australian Open as she aims to beat Pliskova for the first time.
Also at night on Rod Laver Arena, Australian Open 2009 champion Rafael Nadal faces flamboyant Frenchman Gael Monfils. Nadal comes off an epic five set encounter against German young gun Alexander Zverev. While sixth seed Monfils has dropped only one set in the tournament and will be aiming to beat Nadal for the third time in 14 matches.
First up during the day on Channel 7, six-time Australian Open winner Serena Williams faces 16th seed Barbora Strycova as they aim to advance to the last eight.
7TWO coverage resumes Monday 3pm AEDT with the Aussie doubles pairing of Sam Groth and Chris Guccione taking on New Zealander Marcus Daniell and Brazilian Marcello Demoliner.
On 7TWO after 6pm AEDT, big-serving Candian Milos Raonic will be taking on world no. 14 Roberto Bautista Agut, while after 5pm AEDT, 15th seed Grigor Dimitrov is up against Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin.
