Federer almost KOs ballboy with insane round-the-net winner

Roger Federer had commentators and fans in awe against Kei Nishikori with one of the best around-the-net winners you'll ever see.

Federer was so far out of court in the fourth set on Sunday night that he was left with no other option but to send a backhand around the net.

A young ballboy standing on the other side of the chair umpire's seat poked his nose around the corner to see what was going on, but very quickly pulled it back as Federer whistled a winner straight past him.

The crowd went absolutely nuts as the insane shot.

"You cannot do that!" Hamish McLachlan said.

"Actually you can, that's legal," joked Jim Courier. "The net was highly irrelevant on this backhand."

"This is why they have mats for the ballkids to stand on," Courier continued. "Because if they're out of position they're in danger."
