Fired-up Federer stares down Nishikori after huge comeback

Roger Federer stormed back from 5-1 down in the first set to force a tiebreak, and he let Kei Nishikori know it with a massive death stare.

Nishikori made all the running early in their blockbuster fourth round clash on Sunday night, breaking Federer multiple times to take a commanding lead.

But the Swiss Maestro brought things back to 5-5 with a brilliant fightback and sent Nishikori a warning with a look that could have killed.

After Federer ran Nishikori ragged and then put away an easy volley winner, the former World No.1 shot daggers across the net at his opponent as if to say 'this isn't over'.

"I love the look after Federer hit this volley – an extended gaze at Nishikori," Jim Courier said in commentary.

"It wasn't harsh or anything it was just cocky and I love it.

"He wanted to see how Nishikori was reacting, he's looking for weakness."

Nishikori managed to take the first set, but Federer completed the comeback with a thrilling five-set win.
