Jennifer Capriati unleashes on Maria Sharapova
Former tennis star Jennifer Capriati has slammed Maria Sharapova and the WTA in the wake of the Russian's failed drug test revelation.
Capriati, who battled drug problems and injuries throughout her career didn't mention Sharapova's name in the tirade but it's pretty clear where the shots are being aimed.
Im extremely angry and disappointed. I had to lose my career and never opted to cheat no matter what.i had to throw in the towel and suffer

i didn't have the high priced team of drs that found a way for me to cheat and get around the system and wait for science to catch up

I just think it takes away from the sport and the hard work if true. Yes its hard to be kicked when down, when injured and out

Sharapova revealed she had tested positive to meldonium, a medication used to treat diabetes and low magnesium, but was only banned by WADA at the beginning of 2016.
The 28-year-old, a five-time grand slam champ says she has been taking the medication since 2006 to treat various health issues, with the drug used to treat heart problems and increase the circulation of oxygen.
The implication of possible performance enhancement clearly did not sit well with Capriati.
The advantages are so subtle they can be just a hair width difference. that gives you only what you need to know to reach that extra level

Sometimes it's all about what gives you the most confidence to win

If this medication helped me to comeback again would everyone be alright with me taking it?

In my opinion of its all true every title should be stripped. This is other people's lives as well
