Rogue squirrel invades US Open

Earlier in the US Open, we had a court invader dancing with Novak Djokovic, but today we had a slightly furrier guest on court.

This pesky native New York squirrel made him self quite at home on court five during the women’s doubles match between Jelena Jankovic/Aleksandra Krunic and Casey Dellacqua/Yaroslava Shvedova.

The match was stopped momentarily as the squirrel dashed around the court, before eventually climbing into the stands to a chorus of cheers.
