Punter proposes to partner during Djokovic match

We’ve seen ball boys hit in the wrong place and some unbelievable sportsmanship on court at the Australian Open, now we’ve witnessed a magical moment off-court.

One nervous bloke watching Novak Djokovic take on Fernando Verdasco on Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night dropped down to one knee and proposed to his lucky partner, in front of a capacity crowd no less.

Thankfully for the man his partner said yes, much to the delight of the 15,000 spectators in attendance.

Djokovic himself was even impressed, joining in on the applause.
