Australia's Steph Kyriacou has stumbled as home favourite Maja Stark took a three shot lead into the final day of the Creekhouse Ladies Open in Sweden.

Kyriacou started the day four shots behind Stark but carded a five over 77 on Saturday to freefall to equal 11th.

The 20-year-old is overall at two over, 10 shots off the pace ahead of the final round at Kristianstad Golf Club.

But it seems there is no slowing down Stark.

Playing in just her third Ladies European Tour event, the 21-year-old Swede held a two-shot lead at the halfway stage and edged another shot clear thanks to a third round of 71.

Stark enjoyed a five-shot lead until dropped shots on the 16th and 18th left her on eight under par, three shots ahead of Thailand's Atthaya Thitikul, who also shot 71.

"It was tough out there today," Stark said.

"At the end of the round I wanted to hit some solid shots but unfortunately I made a bogey on the last.

"It didn't really surprise me because I've been having trouble with my short wedges the past couple of weeks, but overall I'm happy with the day."

Sweden's Linn Grant is four shots off the pace after a 73 on Saturday, with Spain's Carmen Alonso and Lydia Hall of Wales another stroke back.
