St Johnstone close to Holt signing

St Johnstone are close to agreeing a deal with former Rangers and Livingston midfielder Jason Holt.

The 31-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Livingston expired at the end of last season.

As Holt is a free agent there is no urgency to rush this deal through before the 23:00 BST deadline.

However, if the relevant paperwork is completed in time, Holt’s arrival in Perth could be confirmed tonight.
