Special Olympics athlete shows up Steph Curry with incredible buzzer beater

A Special Olympics athlete has shown up Steph Curry’s amazing buzzer beater against the San Antonio Spurs with an incredible 3/4 court shot of his own.

Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry made headlines for an audacious buzzer beater against the Spurs on Tuesday in a 111 -105 loss.

But point guard Matthew Millett from Team USA topped Curry’s effort with an incredible 3/4 shot with just one second left on the clock in the fourth quarter.

Millett, 40, took the shot from within his own free throw line and was embraced by his teammates following the incredible effort.

“Hey Steph Curry, after seeing your shot last night, Matt Millett decided anything you can do he can do better,” the Special Olympics Massachusetts twitter page wrote.

Team USA was versing Canada in Abu Dhabi and claimed a 35-18 victory.
