The Life List follows Alex Rose (Carson), who is sent on a journey to complete her childhood bucket list by her mother, as she uncovers family secrets, alongside finding romance and discovering herself.

Carson famously played the role of Cassie Morrow in Netflix's hit 2022 movie Purple Hearts opposite Mary & George's Nicholas Galitzine.

The movie became a huge hit for the streamer, with 48.23 million hours viewed in its opening weekend and later 102.59 million hours in its opening week. It also temporarily entered Netflix's list of top 10 most-watched movies ever.

At the time, Carson reacted to the huge milestone, writing on Twitter: "I'll never have the words to express my gratitude. Be still my Purple Heart."

Purple Hearts follows aspiring singer-songwriter Cassie who is pushed together into the unlikely romantic pairing with Galitzine's marine Luke.

Carson wrote a number of songs on the movie's soundtrack, and in 2022 spoke about why 'Come Back Home' stood out particularly for her.

"'Come Back Home' was particularly a challenge for us and particularly emotional because it's set at a moment in the film that is so pivotal to our story and to our characters," she told Entertainment Weekly. "In those three words, Cassie says everything that she's been too afraid to say to him."

The Life List will stream on Netflix.
