Serbian players test positive for virus

Three players from Serbia's national team have tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of their Nations League fixture against Russia on Wednesday.

"Routine testing showed that three more players were positive - Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Darko Lazovic and Djordje Nikolic," Serbia's national federation said in a statement.

"Along with them, one physiotherapist was also positive, while the rest of the team had negative results."

The coronavirus pandemic has strongly affected the Serbian squad, as captain Aleksandar Kolarov, Luka Milivojevic and Darko Lazovic were also infected over the past week.
