The Sentry 2025: List of qualifiers has 65 names ahead of entry deadline

The Sentry is the first event on the 2025 PGA Tour calendar and it'll be here before you know it.

For many years, it was a winners-only event but the field was expanded in 2023 so that any golfer who finished in the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings, even those without a victory the previous season, can tee it up on the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui.

There are 65 players on the tournament's qualifiers list. That doesn't mean everyone will be there. For example, Rory McIlroy typically plays on the DP World Tour at the start of the year. He's only played the Sentry once, finishing fourth in 2019.

The Sentry is a signature event once again, with a total purse of $20 million and a first-place prize of $3,600,000. The field for 2025 will officially be announced on Friday but as of Thursday, here is the list of golfers who officially qualified for the event, including last year's Sony Open champion, Grayson Murray, who died in May.
