Ryan Blaney celebrates into the night with Dale Jr., Danica after first Cup win

Ryan Blaney celebrates into the night with Dale Jr., Danica after first Cup win

Ryan Blaney earned his first NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series win Sunday at Pocono. The celebration lasted longer than the race.

Blaney held a late-night victory bash that lasted into the wee hours Monday. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick were there. Darrell Wallace Jr., Blaney's good friend and, for now, fellow Cup driver, was on hand, too.

Blaney invited Brad Keselowski during a televised interview Keselowski conducted in Victory Lane. No word on whether Keselowski accepted.

The ties between Blaney and Earnhardt, as well as Blaney and Patrick, are deep.

Earnhardt and Blaney are neighbors in the Charlotte, N.C., area (Junior is Blaney's landlord, in fact), but the two have been beefing on the track this season. They had a dustup in March at Phoenix when Blaney blasted Earnhardt over the radio for holding him up in traffic. Two weeks later at Martinsville, their cars got tangled up.

After the Phoenix incident, Junior Nation drove a chastened Blaney underground on social media. Dale Jr. refused to take Blaney's call immediately after Martinsville.

The two got over that and are fine now.

Patrick was a teammate of Blaney's father, Dave, when Patrick broke into NASCAR five years ago. Patrick's boyfriend, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., worked with Ryan Blaney on Fox's "drivers only" broadcast of Saturday's Xfinity Series race at Pocono. Blaney interviewed Keselowski after Keselowski won the race. Keselowski returned the favor Sunday.
