Russell Wilson, Naomi Osaka, other athletes remember Kobe Bryant on 43rd birthday
Kobe Bryant died 19 months ago, but it's a loss that many people won't be able to get over for a long time, if ever. That's even truer for athletes. Some looked to him for inspiration, others considered him a role model, and a special set even got to call him a friend.
August 23 would have been Kobe's 43rd birthday. Athletes of all stripes took a moment to remember him on Monday, paying tribute to his spirit and his memory.
Forever Legend.
Miss you Kobe.
Happy Birthday Mamba. 💜💛🐍
