One of the worst mid-air tackles you'll ever see

A shocking mid-air tackle has resulted in a player being sent off in second division French rugby.

Late in the ProD2 clash, a winger chased his halfback's box kick before taking out the legs of his opposite player who was attempting to catch the high ball.

The collision had shocking consequences as the catching winger flipped over and landed neck-first on the pitch.

Thankfully he appeared to be ok in the immediate aftermath of the illegal tackle.

The tackler was quickly sent off for the tackle, after copping plenty of heat from opposition players.
