Radradra pulls off huge hit in debut for Toulon

Semi Radradra has shown the French how Aussies tackle in his first hit-out for Toulon.

The former Parramatta Eels star pulled off a couple of absolute bell-ringers in his side's three-point loss to Bordeaux on Monday.

Radradra was given the start on the wing in a side full of stars such as Chris Ashton, Bryan Habana, JP Pietersen and Josua Tuisova.

He didn't manage to get over the try line but looked rather impressive in his first taste of the 15-aside code.

As Radradra departed last week the Eels said they still held out hope they'll have him back sooner rather than later.

The bullocking winger gave one final reminder to Eels fans of just what they'll be without next season in their 24-16 semi-final loss to North Queensland three weeks ago.

The Fijian flyer has made no secret of his desire to return to the NRL with Parramatta.

Radradra left the NRL during a period when he was fighting domestic violence charges, which were eventually dropped, signing with Toulon in that period.

"He's been great for our club," Eels coach Brad Arthur said.

"He's worked extremely hard to be the footballer he is now. At some stage we'd like to have him back."
