'Inspirational' Fiji sevens team gives ball boy memory of a lifetime

A young boy in Cape Town was given an experience he’ll never forget thanks to a heartwarming gesture from the Fiji sevens rugby team.

The youngster was on the pitch to deliver the ball to the two teams when the Fijian players hoisted him up on their shoulders and held him aloft.

The little ball boy was clearly chuffed as he raised his fist in the air while cheers rang out from the crowd at the adorable scene.

"Just inspirational," one commentator remarked.

The other commentator was also swept away in the emotion gushing, "I get goosebumps when I see scenes like this, what sport provides."
