Ross hoping Rangers can 'push on' from Celtic defeat

Jane Ross says Rangers "weren't good enough" against Celtic on Sunday and need to bounce back before this weekend's cup final.

Jo Potter's side take on Partick Thistle in the SWPL Cup final and Ross is hoping for a reaction after their 2-1 league defeat to Celtic.

"The mood has been good, there’s a lot of energy in the group," the forward said.

"We’re obviously disappointed after the result on Sunday but it’s something we’ve spoken about, we’ll learn from and move on.

"We don’t want to get defeated so it is now about how we respond to that as a group.

"I feel like the mood and the energy today has been that we need to get our heads down and learn from the performance.

"We know we were by far not good enough on Sunday and I think we’ll push on from it."
