Dominguez drills half-court shot in gold medal game

The United States rolled to victory over Spain in the gold medal game, but Spanish guard Silvia Dominguez definitely provided the play of the game.

Trailing 81-46 with the third quarter buzzer about to go, Dominguez put up prayer from half-court, sinking this long-range bomb to give her team something to smile about.

The United States secured their sixth straight Olympic gold medal in dominant fashion, running away with a blowout 101-72 win. The victory also stretched the USA's Olympic winning streak to 49 games, going all the way back to Barcelona 1992 when they lost in the semi-finals.
