The Bolt loss that nobody talks about

The Bolt loss that nobody talks about

Few can deny that Usain Bolt is the greatest sprinter ever, but his Olympic record is not as impeccable as it may seem.

Bolt’s historic treble of golds in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m at three consecutive Olympic Games is astonishing, and it seems even the Jamaican has forgotten about his debut defeat in 2004.

Bolt posted his Olympic record on Twitter, but conveniently forgot to mention the Athens Olympic Games where he finished fifth in the 200m heats.

Mind you Bolt was only 17 at the time and had been battling a hamstring injury, but it’s obviously something he’d rather forget when talking about his Olympic legacy.
