It was a case of two Olympic legends sharing a precious moment together as Mo Farah and Usain Bolt posed together for a selfie.

The touching scene came just before Farah won gold in the men’s 5000m completed an historic Olympic double-double.

Bolt, having already won his ninth Olympic Games gold medal to cement his status as the greatest ever sprinter, stopped the British distance runner so he could take a photo of the two of them together.

The pair then embraced with one final hug, before Farah became just the second man in Olympic history to retain the 5000m and 10,000m titles.
