Seven presents 'Olympians: Off The Record'

With little more than a year until Rio 2016, Seven looks ahead to the next Olympic Games, presenting a new series: “Olympians: Off The Record”, featuring 12 Olympic greats in a candid interview series with Bruce McAvaney.

The series brings to life these Olympian's stories and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at their famous sporting lives, including champions such as Matthew Mitcham and Anna Meares.

In Episode One [above], Susie O’Neill sits down with Bruce McAvaney in a powerful half hour discussing her career, her struggles and her life after the glory.

Wednesday’s episode sees Brett Aitken and cycling partner Scott McGrory share an Olympic story that is still unfolding today. The pair share their unfortunate and inspiring journey towards their goals.

Sunday features Matthew Mitcham, a man who loves the limelight, and why wouldn't he after spending way too much time in the dark. Matthew shares his defining moments, and the devastating struggles.

Olympians: Off The Record Premieres Monday at 6:45pm on 7TWO straight after the live FINA World Swimming Championships.
