Report: Bulls front office not interested in trading Zach LaVine to 76ers

Following the trade that sent James Harden to the LA Clippers, a report from Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated surfaced, indicating that the Philadelphia 76ers could potentially pursue Zach LaVine and OG Anunoby as potential trade targets. However, the Chicago Bulls don’t seem to be interested in engaging in those discussions.

According to a source who spoke with Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bulls don’t want to trade LaVine right now, and if they did decide to move him, the 76ers aren’t a team they would consider dealing him to based on the assets they could offer in return for the shooting guard.

LaVine seems to be safe in Chicago for now.

“According to a source close to the situation, the Bulls have no intention of trading LaVine anytime soon, and even if that changes — a big if — it’s unlikely that the 76ers fit the profile of what the Bulls would be looking for in return,” Cowley wrote.

All that said, if the Bulls continue to struggle, the trade situation should continue to be monitored closely.
