Bukayo Saka said Arsenal's 6-0 win at West Ham on Sunday was a "statement" victory in their bid to win the Premier League title.

The Gunners had ground to recover following wins for Liverpool and Manchester City on Saturday - and did so in style to return within two points of the Reds at the top of the table.

The England winger said: "We knew this was a big game and it was really important for us to win and make a statement. I think we did really well scoring six and keeping a clean sheet."

Saka's two goals took him to 10 in the Premier League this season, while the first of his double at London Stadium was his 50th goal for Arsenal.

He continued: "Of course I have my own targets. I know these days the media like to compare players. I just stay in my own lane and stay focused on what I want to achieve and what I wanted to achieve at the start of the season. I'm still going and I've got quite a few more to go."
