Jeff Lewis, Beador's friend and fellow Bravo star, addressed the accident on his SiriusXM talk show. The Flipping Out host addressed the situation after revealing that Beador would not appear on his Friday radio show, as originally scheduled.

"Unfortunately, she got into a bit of trouble on Saturday night," Lewis said during his Monday broadcast. "Unfortunately she got a DUI on Saturday night. She was also in a car accident. She was injured, so she's going to be recovering."

He continued, "Shannon and I have been friends for a very long time. I was shocked — she called me yesterday and we talked for awhile — and I was shocked because I've never known Shannon to ever, ever drink and drive."

Lewis additionally shared that Beador would be "entering counseling this week," and clarified that "nobody was hurt in the accident."

EW has reached out to the Newport Beach Police Department for confirmation of the incident.

Lewis added that she is "ashamed," "embarrassed," and "accepting full accountability" for the incident.

"I personally, as her friend — cause people are like, 'Oh she needs rehab,' 'Oh she's an alcoholic' — I don't think Shannon is an alcoholic," Lewis said. "I think, as her close friend, I think she's been going through a lot of personal struggles right now, and I think she probably has been leaning on alcohol — but I don't believe she's an alcoholic."
