Rangers lose Sterling red card appeal

Rangers have had their bid to overturn Dujon Sterling's late dismissal from Tuesday night's game rejected by the SFA.

The Ibrox side had lodged a fast-track appeal after Sterling was shown a red card for a tackle on Jack MacKenzie two minutes before the end of the 2-1 win over Aberdeen.

Robertson had upheld the red card during the game, despite VAR referring him to his pitchside monitor.

And the Scottish FA confirmed the appeal has been rejected with the red card standing.
