Raiders board to meet on Wighton's future

Canberra fullback Jack Wighton's NRL future is in the hands of the Raiders' board after the 25-year-old's latest appearance in court.

Wighton made a brief appearance at the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday where he was directed to return on November 14 for sentencing on assault charges.

He has been stood down from playing by the club after pleading guilty to six charges, including two of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
