Group 1 Winners - Spring Racing 2015

Exosphere failed to fire as the Chris Waller-trained Japonisme booted through on the fence to win the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m).

Stratum Star (middle) found the line strongly to hold off Disposition and Under the Louvre to claim the Sir Rupert Clarke over 1400 metres.

The vintage Buffering resumed racing and showed the younger horses how its done. Buffering held off the late challenge of Ball of Muscle to win the Moir stakes.

Winx had just won the Group Two Theo Marks Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill before then coming out and winning the Epsom Handicap in impressive fashion.

Preferment continued its impressive form by coming from near last to win the Turnbull stakes. The Melbourne Cup is now on the radar.

Criterion had his first run back in Australia since winning the Queen Elizabeth at Randwick in the autumn. Criterion won the Caulfield Stakes defeating Happy Trails with Mongolian Khan running third.

Vanbrugh was shuffled back in the field, but came with a sustained run to claim victory in the Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick.

Jockey Glenn Boss celebrates onboard Lucky Hussler in winning the Group One Toorak Handicap. Disposition and Stratum Star filled the minor placings.
