Black Caviar Lightning Stakes headlines Saturday racing on Seven

Saturday Arvo Racing heads to Flemington for the Group 1 weight-for-age Black Caviar Lightning Stakes.

A crack field will assemble for the $750,000 race over 1000m, including likely favourite Flying Artie to be ridden by Damien Oliver, arch rival Star Turn and fast mare Heatherly. Speith will also be fancied to pass the post first after some strong performances last spring.

The Silver Slipper Stakes will also feature on Saturday Arvo Racing with Golden Slipper favourite She Will Reign set to jump from barrier five for the Group 2 $250,000 sprint at Rosehill.

Jason Richardson will host the coverage alongside, 16-time group 1 winning jockey Simon Marshall and Simon O’Donnell on track at Flemington. Racing expert Francesca Cumani will bring us the action from Rosehill Gardens.
