Kiss and Make Up on Saturday Arvo Racing

Vancouver winning the 2015 Golden Slipper

All eyes will be on Seven’s Saturday Arvo Racing as Gai Waterhouse and John Singleton - one of racing’s greatest partnerships - reunite at the Golden Slipper with their aptly named colt Kiss and Make Up after a public falling out in 2013.

Waterhouse is on track for a record-breaking seventh Golden Slipper, with Kiss and Make Up and Scarlet Rain both competing. Despite Extreme Choice being a favourite, Kiss and Make Up has won his only two starts - knocking off Golden Slipper competitor Capitalist at Royal Randwick last start – fueling the fire that Waterhouse could make history again.

Punters will also be watching superstar mare Winx aiming to win her eighth race in a row in the George Ryder Stakes, as she aims to turn the tables on First Seal, who has beaten her five times before.

All the racing action will be on Seven with five Group 1 races from Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, including the world’s richest two-year-old race, the prestigious $3.5m Golden Slipper, which is also celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Seven’s coverage will be hosted by Bruce McAvaney, with expert analysis from Simon Marshall and Simon O’Donnell. Jason Richardson has all the news from the mounting yard, while Neil Kearney, Rachael Finch and Candice Dixon report on all the colour and characters from around the track.
