PSG win again to extend huge Ligue 1 lead

Angel Di Maria played a key role in both Paris-Saint-Germain goals against Nantes

Paris Saint-Germain have extended their winning run to seven matches with a 2-1 win over Nantes to move 15 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

Mauro Icardi notched up his 10th goal of the season in the 29th minute when Angel Di Maria's strike brushed off his fellow Argentine to give PSG the lead at the Stade de la Beaujoire.

The league leaders doubled their lead just before the hour mark when Thilo Kehrer nodded the ball home from a Di Maria corner.

Nantes pulled one back after a defensive mistake by Presnel Kimpembe. The ball fell to Moses Simon who struck the ball past Keylor Navas.

PSG are unbeaten in 20 matches across all competitions.

A single goal from Loic Remy ensured Lille secured all three points in a 1-0 home victory over Rennes.

Jonathan Ikone played the ball to Remy and he tapped home in the fourth minute for his eighth goal of the season.

Fourth-placed Lille closed the gap on Rennes to just three points.

Monaco secured their first victory under Roberto Moreno to climb to ninth in the table with a hard-fought victory over Angers.

Stevan Jovetic scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute, which was enough for Monaco to record their first win in the league since December.
