'Players returning at perfect time'; 'Confident for Old Firm'

Your Views

We asked for your thoughts after Rangers beat Hibs 3-1 ahead of next week's massive Old Firm.

Here's a taste of what you had to say:

Martin: Professional performance, always in control apart from the goal which was sloppy from our point of view. Great to see players back and getting minutes in the legs. Sets us up nicely for next week.

Ronnie: Three points thats what matters. Connor Goldson and John Souttar immense. Cyriel Dessers great goal, works his socks off yet still leaves you feeling frustrated. Rabbi Matondo and Abdallah Sima being back is huge. Scott Wright still doesn't do enough. More positives than negatives however. We will only get stronger as the season reaches its climax. We're looking good.

Anon: Why do we persist with Dessers? His frequent failure to convert from good build-up play just throws more pressure on our defence, which is still jittery in close games unfortunately.

Tim: Rangers are looking more organised every game and it will take something special to derail the train. Returning players at the right time should see them cross the line.

Anon: I thought it was brilliant by rangers today. If we keep on going the way we are and beat Celtic next weekend I think we will win the league.

Stu: They look the real deal. Better finishing from Dessers and Sima and we could have scored five. I think Celtic should be fearful they are getting most of the squad back in perfect timing for the business end of the season.

Elaine: We are reaching our best just at the right time. Great to have lots of injured players back and all getting minutes. Good to have a strong bench too which we haven’t had for some time. Confident for next Sunday now.

Anon: Unconvincing front three. I would still say we are lacking creativity. I thought the refereeing performance was absolutely diabolical. We looked more of a threat when Sima and Matondo came on.

Dougie: Happy with team performance and three points. Generally controlled the game. That said, corners are a real frustration. Lost count of how many we had, all outswinging, and all totally ineffectual.
