Durham, NC, Dec. 02, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ProcessMaker announces a new integration with Formstack which allows Formstack Forms to be utilized out-of-the-box inside ProcessMaker Process Applications. The new integration is designed to benefit Formstack users that want to build sophisticated workflow applications using their Formstack Forms, and ProcessMaker users that may prefer to use native Formstack Forms for the user interface in ProcessMaker applications. Enterprise organizations use hundreds to thousands of forms: travel authorization request forms, employee onboarding/offboarding forms, change request forms, purchase order forms, credit request forms - the list goes on. Most standalone web forms are perfect for collecting data and perhaps pushing it to another system. However, many organizations use forms as part of larger workflows that span systems (such as SAP and Salesforce) and people across the organization that need to review and/or approve forms. Furthermore, some forms need to be handled in a time-sensitive matter based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and generate automatic escalations if those SLAs are not met. The new integration between Formstack and ProcessMaker brings the full power of the ProcessMaker workflow engine to the Formstack ecosystem.“Formstack offers an amazing user experience for forms, digital signatures, and document generation. These are all elements in enterprise-level business processes,” said Brian Reale, founder and CEO of ProcessMaker. “We believe that it makes a lot of sense to offer ProcessMaker’s process orchestration technology to Formstack users that want to do more with what they have already built in Formstack.”“ProcessMaker has made it truly simple to use Formstack Forms directly in their visual workflow designer,” explained Zak Pines, VP of Partnerships at Formstack. “This is a big value add for users and partners in our ecosystem that are addressing more sophisticated process problems using Formstack assets.”Digital transformation continues to accelerate across organizations and industries. Only tools that are open and easy to integrate with other solutions will help organizations thrive and become more agile during this transformation. You can learn more about this new integration at formstack.com/integrations/processmaker\---------------------About FormstackFormstack is a secure workplace productivity platform built to produce ingenious solutions to the everyday work that slows organizations down. HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Dec. 02, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chembio Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CEMI) a leading point-of-care diagnostic company focused on infectious diseases, today announced it has been awarded a contract from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. The contract will support the development and pursuit of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a rapid, multiplex DPP Respiratory Antigen Panel point-of-care test system using Chembio’s proprietary DPP technology for the upcoming flu season. The contract also supports preparation of a submission in pursuit of FDA 510(k) clearance for the rapid DPP SARS-CoV-2 Antigen test system that was recently submitted to the FDA for an EUA. The award totals $12,691,726.The DPP Respiratory Antigen Panel test system is intended to provide simultaneous, discrete, and differential detection of Influenza A, Influenza B, and SARS-CoV-2 antigens from a single patient respiratory specimen, such as a nasal or nasopharyngeal swab. It is expected to provide results in approximately 20 minutes and be run on Chembio’s DPP Micro Reader analyzer. The system is intended to enable appropriate clinical management of patients with suspected respiratory infections and assist in the containment of COVID-19 cases during the flu season. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recognized that contemporaneous testing for the three viruses will provide public health officials with information to help limit the spread of the viruses while conserving scarce resources.A second portion of the contract will support the verification, process validation, and production of clinical validation data to be included in a submission to the FDA for 510(k) clearance and CLIA-waiver for the DPP SARS-CoV-2 Antigen test system. This system consists of a DPP SARS-CoV-2 Antigen test cartridge and a DPP Micro Reader analyzer and is designed to use a minimally invasive nasal swab to detect SARS-CoV-2 viral antigens in only 20 minutes. The system was developed by Chembio and submitted to the FDA for an EUA on October 15, 2020, with support from BARDA under contract number 75A50120C00138.“We are honored to again partner with BARDA and appreciate their support as we endeavor on the shared mission to expand and decentralize COVID-19 testing,” stated Richard Eberly, Chembio’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “The DPP technology is highly versatile, and these new product and regulatory objectives illustrate our commitment to offering virus detection for diagnosis at the point-of-care. We believe rapid, point-of-care tests can improve clinical outcomes and play a major role in combating this ongoing pandemic, especially during the upcoming flu season.”About the DPP Rapid Test Platform Chembio’s proprietary DPP technology platform provides high-quality, rapid diagnostic results in 15 to 20 minutes using a small drop of blood from the fingertip or alternative samples. Through advanced multiplexing, the DPP platform can detect up to eight, distinct test results from a single patient sample, delivering greater clinical value than other rapid tests. For certain applications, Chembio’s easy-to-use, highly portable, battery-operated DPP Micro Reader optical analyzer then reports accurate results in approximately 15 seconds, making it well-suited for decentralized testing where real-time results enable patients to be clinically assessed while they are still on-site. Objective results produced by the DPP Micro Reader reduce the possibility of the types of human error that can be experienced in the visual interpretations required by many rapid tests.Chembio’s portfolio of DPP-based point-of-care tests with FDA regulatory approvals include the DPP HIV-Syphilis System (PMA approved), DPP HIV 1/2 Assay (PMA approved and CLIA waived), DPP Zika IgM System (510(k)), and DPP Ebola Antigen System (EUA). Additionally, DPP-based tests have received regulatory approvals from the World Health Organization, CE-Mark, Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA), and other global organizations, where they aid in the detection and diagnosis of several other critical diseases and conditions. All DPP tests are developed and manufactured in the United States and are the subject of a range of domestic and global patents and patents pending.About Chembio Diagnostics Chembio is a leading point-of-care diagnostics company focused on detecting and diagnosing infectious diseases, including COVID-19, sexually transmitted disease, and fever and tropical disease. Coupled with Chembio’s extensive scientific expertise, its novel DPP technology offers broad market applications beyond infectious disease. Fastest Path to Real-Time Helps Users Explore Massive Scenes in Seconds; Free for a Limited Time LOS ANGELES, Calif., Dec. 02, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Chaos Group releases Chaos Vantage, a new application that allows users to instantly explore their 3D scenes in a fully ray traced, real-time environment. Unlike traditional real-time methods, the import process is simple – no geometry to optimize, UVs to unwrap or lighting to bake. Users simply drag-and-drop a V-Ray scene, or live link from Autodesk 3ds Max, to bring it into real-time. Architects and designers can now interact with their designs in the simplest and most realistic way possible.“Vantage removes the hurdles that used to hold people back, introducing a ‘real-time anytime’ workflow that lets designers and artists use real-time as freely as they use 3D,” said Phillip Miller, VP of product management at Chaos Group. “As real-time begins to live comfortably within every stage of the design process, it will make a huge impact on how people get their work done, from client meetings and over-the-shoulder reviews to the way they art direct various iterations. This will change everything.”Vantage, formerly known as Project Lavina, is designed for massive scenes and can handle billions of polygons without any loss in detail or significant decrease in speed. Vantage automatically reads V-Ray’s physically based lights and materials to produce photorealistic results with 100% ray tracing, even on complex scenes. Vantage is currently averaging 24-30fps on a consumer-grade NVIDIA RTX card at HD resolution, with additional speed boosts available using two GPUs.Vantage can open scene files from any recent V-Ray integration and also live links with V-Ray for 3ds Max, giving users the ability to see every camera, model and lighting adjustment in Vantage as they create. This turns Vantage into a fully ray-traced viewport that allows artists to make their creative decisions with higher fidelity than ever before. Vantage also includes an Animation Editor that can create, edit and render animated sequences for presentations or previsualization purposes, using a simple transition-based method. With cameras set in Vantage as markers, designers can direct the editor through the various milestones, manipulating transition times and moves at will. An onboard tool keeps track of all new cameras/poses during this process, ensuring scene consistency across a production.Other Features Include: * Object Transforms and Controls – Move, rotate and scale objects in real-time. Controls to copy, hide and delete objects are also available. * Lookup Tables (LUTs) – Apply a color filter to any camera for a more cinematic look. * Collision Detection – Similar to playing a game, automatic collision detection allows users to walk up stairs and avoid walking through walls without any authoring. * Layered Fog – Quickly add atmospheric depth to dramatize expansive scenes. * Record Camera – Easily record a real-time session as an MP4 video for easy sharing. “For too long, the production process has been getting in the way of the design. With Vantage, you can manipulate scenes right in front of your clients. There’s no more waiting or ‘let me get back to you,’ which completely changes the dynamic of a meeting and the way you collaborate together,” said Carlos Cristerna, principal and RadLab director at Neoscape. “Our work is focused on large-scale developments and international competitions with some of the biggest architecture and development companies. When you are working at that level, anything that helps get people on the same page is extremely powerful. Vantage does that faster than anything I’ve ever seen. It’s truly the way of the future, there’s no going back.”“Building Utopia” Contest:To celebrate the release of Chaos Vantage, Chaos Group has partnered with Lenovo, NVIDIA, KitBash3D and CGarchitect to launch the “Building Utopia” real-time rendering challenge. Running until January 25, 2021, the contest will focus on real-time animation using Vantage and a free futuristic 3D city model provided by KitBash3D. Prizes include a Lenovo ThinkPad with an NVIDIA RTX 5000 professional GPU, an NVIDIA RTX 8000 professional GPU, and more. Registrations are now open on CGarchitect, with the winners to be revealed on March 26.Try Chaos Vantage now.Pricing and Availability Chaos Vantage is available now and is compatible with all V-Ray Next and V-Ray 5 integrations. A one-year license is free until June 2, 2021, after which it will cost $389 annually. Vantage is also included in V-Ray Collection, an annual plan that gives users full access to 15 Chaos Group products and services for $699/year. Vantage uses DXR ray tracing and currently requires an NVIDIA RTX series GPU.About Chaos Group Chaos Group is a worldwide leader in computer graphics technology, helping artists and designers create photorealistic imagery and animation for architecture, design, and visual effects. Comprehensive Literacy State Development/Striving Readers Program Enables District to Bring Literacy Program to Additional StudentsWINOOSKI, Vt., Dec. 02, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reading Plus, a research-backed online program that uses personalized instruction to improve students’ reading proficiency, today announced the adoption of its platform within Bismarck Public Schools in Bismarck, North Dakota. After a successful pilot in the spring of 2020 with 217 participants, the District signed a three-year agreement with Reading Plus to utilize the program for elementary, middle, and high school students. Reading Plus develops comprehension, vocabulary and silent reading fluency for students in grades 3-12, producing up to two and a half years of growth in just 60 hours of instruction. More than 5,000 schools turn to Reading Plus’s unique approach that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of reading. By directing students’ eyes across a piece of text with its patented Guided Window, the program strengthens necessary visual skills that in turn build stamina and motivation. To help bring Reading Plus to its district, Bismarck Public Schools used funds from the CARES Act, as well as the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD)/Striving Readers program. The mission of the CLSD grant program is to advance the literacy skills of students, with an emphasis on those who are disadvantaged, including English learners and students with disabilities. The CLSD grant program has appropriated $500 million to support literacy initiatives for the next five years.“Reading Plus appealed to our educators and students for several reasons, including the opportunity for targeted small group instruction,” said Andrea Seibel, multi-tiered system of supports consultant for Bismarck Public Schools. “The program’s emphasis on silent reading fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension was something we felt could strongly benefit our students. Plus, the choice that kids have in the texts they read is a big deal for us. The dashboard where teachers can see precisely where students are struggling and how they can support with small group instruction is also really nice and a key component to using this intervention effectively.”Initially, the District’s pilot with Reading Plus was going to be with a small group. However, due to COVID-19 and a transition to distance learning, the pilot ended up being available to all secondary buildings.By the completion of the pilot, Bismarck students who completed 60+ lessons gained over two reading levels in the program.“It is always rewarding for our team to see how our product is helping educators work with their students to identify and overcome their reading challenges and begin to enjoy reading, which translates into academic success,” said Steven Guttentag, CEO of Reading Plus. “We look forward to partnering with the Bismarck Public Schools district on its literacy initiatives now and in the future.”To learn more about the benefits of Reading Plus, visit www.readingplus.com. The heads of the U.S. Treasury Department and Federal Reserve on Wednesday renewed calls for legislators to reach agreement on additional funds to help small businesses get through the next few months before a coronavirus vaccine is in wide enough use to allow a broad-based economic recovery to take hold. In a second day of testimony to congressional committees, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Fed Chair Jerome Powell both told the House Financial Services Committee that additional fiscal action is needed as insurance against another contraction in activity in the near term. "It would be very helpful and very important that there be additional fiscal support for the economy, really to get us through the winter," Powell said.
Shares of hydrogen fuel cell stocks FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ: FCEL), Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG), and Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE) are on the move again in Wednesday morning trading -- and specifically, they're moving down. As of 10:55 a.m. EST, Plug shares are off 2.2%, Bloom Energy is down 4.8%, and FuelCell Energy stock is doing worst of all -- crashing 21.5%. In fact, I think I might go so far as to say that today's sell-off is entirely due to FuelCell and its decision, announced last night after close of trading, to sell at least 34.5 million shares of common stock -- and perhaps as many as 39.7 million shares, at a price 28% below where FuelCell stock closed yesterday.

Brendan Rodgers has left Jamie Vardy and three other senior Leicester players at home as he prepares to welcome back Ricardo Pereira from injury. With qualification for the Europa League knockout stages already secured, Rodgers is giving Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel, Youri Tielemans and Jonny Evans a chance to recharge ahead of Sunday’s trip to Sheffield United. Leicester face Zorya Luhansk in their fifth European tie, with a flight time to Ukraine of nearly four hours, and Rodgers has taken the opportunity to rest a number of experienced players. “It’s a season that we’re really enjoying, with the challenge of the games being so close, but of course there is a physical load on a lot of the players,” he said. “We want Jamie fresh for the weekend, so he hasn’t travelled. “Jonny, Kasper and Youri have played a number of games, and international games as well, and you have to consider the travel that goes along with that as well. “To give them some respite from travel is important and it felt right to give them a rest. “We can give them the opportunity to rest because from time to time I’ve seen that little bit of tiredness because some of the players are having to play so much. We may have qualified but we’re not taking the game lightly.” Leicester are set for a huge boost, however, with Pereira, Caglar Soyuncu and Wilfred Ndidi all expected to play some part against Luhansk. Rodgers has been without Pereira since March 9 after the wing-back suffered a serious knee injury in the 4-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League. Soyuncu, the Turkey international, has not played since October 4 and is also in line to play, while Ndidi has missed over two months, with both players suffering abductor tears. Rodgers said: “Ricardo is really excited about coming back and we’ll look to give him up to 75 minutes. “He’s one of the best full-backs in European football and it’s great to see him back. “I’m also really looking forward to seeing Soyuncu and Wilf play and hopefully they can get through as much of the game as they can. “The players have done amazing up until now but to have the level of player coming back can make us super-competitive. It gives us a really exciting squad." Leicester will guarantee first place in Group G with a win over Luhansk, who are bottom of the table.

The best of both worlds; a pop-up concept with an integrated hybrid broadcast experienceTORONTO, Dec. 02, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This holiday season Nissan Canada is launching Nissan Studio, a virtual platform showroom experience opening December 1, as part of its campaign for the all-new 2021 Rogue crossover and the 2020 Sentra sedan. kubik created this unique hybrid experience to assist Nissan with finding and engaging alternative audiences in the absence of a 2021 live auto show. The live-stream experience allows shoppers to conveniently shop from any place in Canada, with the individualization of a personal shopper. A reimagining of e-commerce; the concept allows consumers to go beyond the limitations of scripted content of a website or on-demand video and have a real-time one-on-one encounter with an actual live sales consultant that can address their specific inquiries, provide product tours and a personalized experience with the Nissan Rogue. “The consumer experience has changed significantly over the past year, and we’ve had to adapt how we connect with our customers in response,” said Adam Paterson, director of marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. “The Nissan Studio signifies our evolution into this space, allowing us to bring the best of the showroom into the homes of Canadians everywhere. We’re incredibly excited about this new offering and giving everyone the opportunity to experience our newest models without ever needing to leave home.”The physical environment of the studio can all be utilized as a pop-up shopping environment, allowing a brand to be flexible and dynamically address the changing public openings as regulated by public health officials, regardless of the public participation of the physical pop-up space. The broadcast studio expands the campaign footprint allowing for integrated lead generation across dealerships and regional locations.Head of Strategy and Creative for kubik, Adriano Almeida commented on the overall potential for the new online retail model; “We knew going into our planning for the automotive season that we needed to come up with agile and alternative models for Nissan. In developing the concept, it became clear that a personal online experience makes sense across a lot of sectors beyond automotive. When conversion is more than ever about a quality experience, guided commerce can really be a differentiator for a brand. We’ve already had other clients in consumer retail and B2B express interest in developing a personalized online broadcast to drive their marketing campaigns.”About kubik kubik creates the environments where real connections are made, producing the experiences where a message and a community emotionally converge, whether they are real, virtual or hybrid.
