The 2024 BMW Ladies Championship is the second of four straight LPGA events on the Asian swing.
Seowon Hills at Seowon Valley Country Club in Korea is the host venue. There are 78 players in the no-cut event featuring a $2.2 million purse.
Seowon Hills is about an hour from Seoul. It opened in 2004 as a nine-hole course and added 18 holes in 2012.
The BMW Ladies Championship became an official event on the LPGA in 2019. There are two past champions in the field. Minjee Lee is the defending champion; Lydia Ko won it in 2022.
Of the 18 LPGA winners in 2024, 17 are in the field, with six-time winner this season, Nelly Korda, not playing as she nurses a minor neck injury .
