Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that he does not have a problem with images of Paul Pogba meeting Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Pogba’s Manchester United future has come under increased speculation in recent months after he admitted he was interested in a new challenge this summer.

The midfielder spent time in Dubai over the international break recovering from a foot injury which will keep him out of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Pogba was pictured meeting Madrid head coach Zidane on a beach while away but Solskjaer is not concerned by the images.

“Here we go with the picture! I’ve not heard Paul Pogba say he doesn’t want to be here. Paul wants to stay here and play well,” he said.

“Paul is part of our plan going forward and Paul knows that. I’ve spoken to him so many times.

“He’s been playing through the pain barrier and he’s been criticised left, right and centre but when he came back for Rochdale, Arsenal he could easily have opted to not try to play them, but he wanted to play.

“He wanted to try to get back, it was too painful so he had that scan but he’s on the way back. He’s mending, he’s recovering.

“He’s been on a few days off working but he’s away from here, and then there’s a picture. When you’re at Man United, you do get pictures, speculation, I don’t have any problem with that at all.”
