The Patriots' training centre has been closed after another player tested positive for the virus.
In their game against defending champions the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Patriots had to do without regular quarterback Cam Newton, who had tested positive. The Chiefs won 26-10.
Last weekend's game between the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers was postponed until later in the season after an additional Titans player and one staff member tested positive.
