Magic F Jonathan Isaac wheeled off court after tearing ACL against Kings

Orlando forward Jonathan Isaac suffered a torn ACL in his left knee after going down in the fourth quarter the Magic’s 132-116 win against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Just minutes into the fourth quarter of the matchup at Walt Disney World, Isaac planted on his left leg as he went to drive to the hoop. Almost instantly, Isaac reached for his left knee in pain and fell to the floor, where he remained for several minutes, clearly in distress.

Isaac had to be helped off the court in a wheelchair.

Isaac had four points and three rebounds in the game when he went down. He had injured his left knee initially in January, and was expected to miss the remainder of the season recovering.

The 22-year-old was averaging 12.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this season, his third in the league.

“It was sad, man. My whole heart goes out to him. I know everybody’s heart on our team goes out to him,” Aaron Gordon said after the game, via Fox Sports Magic. “I just know he’s such a great guy. He’s such a great person. And how hard he worked to get back on the court, I hope it’s nothing serious. I hope it’s something that kind of shocked him. It was sad, man. It brought tears to my eye.”
