Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon won't be drafted by Dolphins, report says

There's at least one team that won't be concerned withJoe Mixon at next month's NFL Draft.

The Dolphins have no interest in selecting theformerOklahoma running back after hewascaptured in avideo released last December striking a woman in the face during an altercation in 2014.

According to the Miami Herald, a team source confirmed there's a “zero percent chance" the Dolphins will draftthecontroversial rusher.

Mixon's talent has been overshadowed by off-field troubles, but he's still expected to draw interest from a number of teams and potentially find a suitor.

The Chiefs took a chance on Tyreek Hill atlast year's draft after he pleaded guilty to felony domestic violence and battery by strangulation in August 2015, though the team's decisionultimately paid off whenHillearned a trip to the Pro Bowlafter a productive rookie year.

Mixon, 20, averaged 6.8 yards per carry on 110 carries for the Sooners last season.Although he wasn't permitted to participate in the NFL Combine, Mixon spokewith24 teams during Oklahoma's pro day earlier this month and later met privately with the Lions, Bengals, Saints and Browns.
