Ojo ready to play in any position for Enyimba

Enyimba midfielder, Dare Ojo states his intention to play in any position the coach Gbenga Ogunbote deems fit for him to play.

The energetic player has mostly featured in the right full back role since joining the seven-time Nigerian champions in 2015.

Ojo highlighted the importance of being able to fill in a number of roles as a footballer.

"It all depends on what the coach feels. I've fit in well at the right fullback role even though playing in the defensive midfield role is my best option," Ojo told Goal.

"But the most important thing is to be prepared to effectively play in any role the coach deems fit for you.

"Multitasking is part of the game, a player shouldn't sit at a role as though he can't play elsewhere on the pitch. It's agreed that footballers do have their preferred positions but being flexible is an important factor in the game and it gives one an edge.

With widespread opinions frowning at the League Management Company to shift league matches that falls on festive periods; Ojo noted that it's a welcome development and supported the decision to shift matches.

"I do support the decision of the LMC to honour festive period by shifting games. That's a time for the players to see families too, so observing the Muslim and Christian festive periods is a welcome development for me."
