'Oh my god': UFC world erupts over frightening KO

Jorge Masvidal silenced the London crowd on Saturday after flattening home favourite Darren Till in the main event at the UFC Fight Night in the United Kingdom.

Masvidal connected with a huge left hook that knocked Till out cold as he fell motionless to the canvas.

Referee Marc Goddard rushed in to stop the fight as Masvidal delivered a frightening blow to a groggy Till, unable to defend himself.

The fight was an absolute slugfest as Till looked to use his size and power to bully his way to victory, but Masvidal was having none of it.

The end came during an exchange where Till was moving forward and Masvidal unleashed a huge combination that culminated in a left hook the absolutely demolished the British slugger.

Till was already unconscious before he even crashed to the canvas.

Masvidal walked away and celebrated his handiwork after getting back on track after a long layoff between fights and then returning with a jaw-dropping knockout against Till.

The end came at 3:05 into the second round.

“I need that belt wrapped around my waist,” Masvidal said after the win.

“The dude only has one loss and that was to the champ. I need that belt wrapped around my waist.”

The UFC world erupted over the stunning scenes.

Backstage brawl after fight

A short time later, Masvidal was involved in a scuffle with co-main event winner Leon Edwards backstage.

Masvidal was mid-interview during the live UFC London post-fight show on ESPN+ when Edwards could be heard in the background challenging him.

Masvidal walked away from the interview to return fire with Edwards.

It immediately escalated from words to fists as Masvidal approached Edwards and immediately fired off several punches before the two could be separated.
