Whether you live in a small apartment or a big house, cooking odors tend to linger. Maybe you like the scent of bacon or fresh bread filling the house, but if the smell of last night’s salmon is hanging around for too long, you can try an odor eliminating candle like Diptyque’s.

Diptyque is a Paris-based luxury candle brand known for its popular Baies scent. (It was reportedly the official scent of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding ceremony.) However, its odor-eliminating candle is the one you need if you like to cook, have pets or are self-conscious about your home smelling rather bad.

According to the product description, the Odor Removing Candle is different from the brand’s other products in that it’s “based on a technology that targets and eliminates the molecules responsible for unpleasant odors.” In addition to removing bad odors though, it replaces them with the aromatic combination of basil, mint and tomato leaf.

In other words, it doesn’t just mask smells. Burn it to banish odors and then fill the room with a more refreshing scent. For best results, Diptyque suggests lighting the candle 30 minutes before you start cooking, and leaving it burning for at least 30 minutes after your meal is ready.

You can snag the candle on Diptyque’s website to make your home feel more luxurious and smelling fresh after breakfast, lunch or dinner.
