New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport reported Friday morning.

Beckham was on the receiving end of a leg whip in the Giants’ Week 11 loss to the Eagles on November 25th but played the following week against the Bears. However, after experiencing discomfort in his quad the Friday prior to Week 13’s matchup with the Redskins, Beckham was ruled out.

Giant head coach Pat Shurmur confirmed that Beckham will miss another week.

Beckham was limited in practice Wednesday, then went to see a specialist Thursday at The Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan for a second opinion and did not practice. When asked if he was specifically dealing with a bruised quad, he struggled to characterize the injury.

I don’t know. It’s like saying I broke my leg but you really fractured it. It’s a choice of words,” Beckham said. “Whatever you want to call it, s— ain’t right.”
