NZ thrash Aust women's Sevens in Canada

New Zealand have demolished arch rivals Australia 46-0 in the final of the women's Sevens world series in Canada, sending a loud warning ahead of next month's series finale.

The Kiwis ran riot, scoring eight tries and scarcely allowing series leaders Australia any possession, as New Zealand narrowed the points gap.

New Zealand will go to the final round in Paris with all the momentum, having won the last two tournaments and also beaten Australia to claim the Commonwealth Games gold medal.
